Staying Current: Blueberry Vision 3.0

The team at Current Wave Media recently visited Giant Berry’s blueberry packaging facility to film their cutting-edge Blueberry Vision 3.0 machine. This high-performance system combines AI-driven machine vision technology with advanced sorting capabilities, bringing a new level of precision to blueberry production.

Blueberry Vision 3.0 is designed to scan, analyze, and sort blueberries based on multiple parameters, including internal defects, shape, softness, and size. It’s particularly effective with jumbo “giant” blueberry varieties, helping producers maintain top-quality fruit for the market.

Our goal was to capture the technology in action, highlighting how automation and AI are transforming the blueberry industry. From close-up shots of the berries passing through the system to wide shots of the facility in operation, we aimed to tell the full story of precision, innovation, and efficiency at Giant Berry.
